Wharves & airports
Wharf operators that handle animal products intended for human or animal consumption and export with an official assurance, must operate under a risk management programme or a regulated control scheme.
Operating under a risk management programme
If you decide to operate under a risk management programme (RMP), you must register with MPI and meet other requirements.

Operating under the Wharf Regulated Control Scheme
The Wharf Regulated Control Scheme (RCS) is an alternative to operating under a risk management programme. An RCS only applies if you handle animal products intended for export that require an official assurance (export certificate).
