New Zealand is an ideal egg-producing environment, with our reputation for world-leading farming practices, pest and disease control, and animal welfare standards. We export eggs and egg products to markets in the Pacific, Asia, and North America.
Egg exporter responsibilities
When exporting products from New Zealand you're responsible for:
- ensuring your products meet relevant New Zealand standards
- complying with the destination country's legislation and eligibility requirements
- reporting non-conformances to MPI – for example, if your products are no longer fit for their intended purpose or are refused entry by the destination country
- keeping the right records.
