6th International Symposium on Dairy Cow Nutrition and Milk Quality (China)

About the conference

  • Venue: Beijing Friendship Hotel, Beijing, People's Republic of China
  • Date: 3 to 5 May 2019

The symposium provides a platform for dairy experts from around the world to meet and collaborate on the advances in science and technology that affect dairy cow nutrition and milk quality. This is the sixth year that the symposium is being held. The 2 main focuses for this year are:

  • milk quality improvement
  • innovation in relevant science and technology.

This year has a particular focus on New Zealand, including a session on both days about premium milk innovation in New Zealand. The New Zealand speakers have been selected following a robust selection process.

MPI's involvement

MPI is a co-organiser of the conference. Other New Zealand co-organisers are:

  • Dairy Companies Association of New Zealand
  • AsureQuality
  • New Zealand Food Safety Science and Research Centre.

Overseas co-organisers include the Dairy Association of China and the American Dairy Science Association. The main organiser is the Institute of Animal Sciences, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences.

Fees

  • Full fee rate: RMB 1,500
  • Full fee rate for students: RMB 1,200

Company incentives

Companies are able to attend the conference. We understand a package is available for approximately 150,000 RMB. The package includes the following:

  • Placement for company stand(s) at the conference venue.
  • A 20 to 30-minute speaking slot at the conference for a company representative.
  • Company logo or name can be printed on conference material.
  • Placement of company flyers or introduction booklets in conference bags, which are distributed to all attendees.
