Compensation for losses
You may be eligible to claim compensation if you have incurred a loss due to the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) exercising powers or restrictions under the Biosecurity Act 1993, section 162A.
For example, farmers who have been directed to have animals culled, or who have had their farm operations restricted under movement controls, may be eligible for compensation.
