All laboratories that test live animals and germplasm for export must operate under the Recognised Laboratory Programme.
Requirements for animal products and material intended for export, to meet the Official Assurance Specifications.
LAS, recognised persons & agencies: Specifies requirements for recognised agencies and verifiers and others; except for dairy processors, those exporting live animals, or working with germplasm.
This notice specifies the requirements that must be followed in order to receive an official assurance to accompany exported animal material or animal products within the scope of the Animal Products Act 1999 (the Act).
