New Zealand: The product is sold in supermarkets within Pak'n Save and New World stores throughout the North Island and the below retail stores as individual half shell oysters in the below timeframe:
Overseas: The product has been exported to United States (Hawaii only) and French Polynesia.
This recall does not affect any other Te Kouma Bay brand products. Only the individual oysters purchased from the above premises within the special time frame are affected by this recall.
Customers who purchased the 1 dozen / tray product are asked to check the batch and date marking on the product label located on the back of the tray. Only the individual oysters purchased from the above premises within the special time frame are affected by this recall.
Affected product should not be consumed. There have been no reports of illness, however, if you have consumed any of this product and have any concerns about illness, seek medical advice.
Customers should return the products to their retailer for a full refund.
