To provide for the development of a 956-hectare marine farm for the farming of green mussel
(Perna canaliculus), scallops, Pacific oysters and flat oysters, including the catching of spat and
juvenile stages of these species, and for the farming, on a pilot basis, of other species, and shall
include the occupation of the Coastal Marine Area, disturbance of the sea bed and the discharge of
contaminants from its operation.
