Download FAR 2022/23 Inshore trawl survey of Canterbury Bight and Pegasus Bay, April–June 2021 (KAH2104)

A bottom trawl survey of the east coast South Island (ECSI) at 10–400 m depths was carried out using R.V. Kaharoa (trip code KAH2104) from 28 April to 12 June 2021. The core (30–400 m) survey was the thirteenth in the winter ECSI inshore time series (1991–1994, 1996, 2007–2009, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2018, and 2021). Four shallow strata (10–30 m), included in 2007, 2012, 2014, 2016, and 2018, were again surveyed in 2021 to monitor elephantfish and red gurnard over their full depth range.
