This report includes a description of New Zealand ribaldo fisheries catches from 1989–90 to 2012–13 for fishery management areas RIB 3-8, CPUE analyses for the three main fishery areas on the East Coast South Island/Chatham Rise, Sub-Antarctic region, and west coast South Island regions, a summary of observer size frequency data; a summary of trawl survey biomass and size frequency data for the Chatham Rise, Sub-Antarctic, and west coast South Island; and a review of stock structure. It makes recommendations on future data requirements and methods for monitoring the stocks.
