Requirements for importing frozen berries are changing
We're moving to new food safety clearance requirements.
From 1 August 2024, importers can start using GFSI-recognised certificates following the process detailed on this page.
Until 31 January 2026, importers can continue to gain food safety clearance through testing, official certificates, and laboratory documentation. From 1 February 2026, GFSI-recognised certificates must be used for gaining clearance.
