UPDATE – 14 March 2023
Final import health standards released
We’ve released the final import health standards for importing fresh citrus for human consumption.
To ensure uninterrupted trade during the current import season, MPI has determined that citrus consignments from Vanuatu and New Caledonia certified under previous citrus standards, can receive clearance at the New Zealand border until 30 June 2023.
Version 1.2 extended the transitional period and removed Egypt and the United States from the document.
Version 1.3 extended the transitional period for Australia, Japan, New Caledonia and Vanuatu.
Version 1.4 extended the transitional period for Australia, New Caledonia and Vanuatu.
Version 1.5 extended the transitional period for New Caledonia and Vanuatu.
