Application for Exemption from Quota Aggregation Limits – New Zealand Longline Quota Co Limited

In June 2013 New Zealand Longline Quota Co Limited submitted an application to hold quota in excess of aggregation limits for two deepwater crab species. Both species have aggregation limits, as specified in section 59 of the Fisheries Act 1996, of 45%. The application is to hold 45.63% of red crab (CHC) quota and 54.26% of king crab (KIC) quota.
