Email Scam - email purportedly sent from MPI
Please be advised that a scam email containing a potentially malicious hyperlink, has been sent from a false MPI address.
The email is noted to have been sent from ‘Ministry for Primary Industries’ under the origin email address of email@example.com and contains the following content:
"Dear Diplomates [sic],
We are writing to let you know of progress and recent update within Ministry for Primary Industries, details has been attached via a secured message. Kindly CLICK HERE to view.
Ministry for Primary Industries
PO Box 2526
This email is not official MPI correspondence.
We recommend the following actions if you receive this message:
- Please disregard and delete the email
- Do not open the webpage hyperlink under any circumstances
- Report the scam email to the DIA Electronic Messaging Compliance team - firstname.lastname@example.org
