Allowed if:

It has the country of manufacturer clearly stated on the packaging and the meat is from one of the countries in this list. Note, no private consignments of cured pig meat products, except those from Australia, Finland and Sweden, are allowed into New Zealand. This restriction does not apply to commercial consignments.

Canned meat

Allowed if: It is commercially manufactured and packaged, in its original unopened packaging, and does not require refrigeration.

  • 2kg, if the canned meat contains bone. 
  • No limits otherwise.

Allowed if: It is cooked or preserved, and it does not contain jackfruit or breadfruit.
