New Zealand Food Safety is inviting public comment on the proposed revision of the ACVM Registration Information Requirements for Agricultural Chemicals in New Zealand.

The ACVM Registration Information Requirements for Agricultural Chemicals is being split into high level Information Requirements and a supporting guidance document to provide more information about how the requirements can be met. The proposed draft documents include clarification of the efficacy and crop safety position when no maximum residue limit (MRL) applies, and more detail in a number of sections since the Registration Information Requirements for Agricultural Chemicals were last published in April 2011.  

Submissions close at 5pm on 8 December 2023.

Background information

The ACVM Registration Information Requirements for Agricultural Chemicals is being split into high level Information Requirements and a supporting Guidance document to provide more information about how the requirements can be met. A number of changes are included in the new documents with the aim of clarifying specific information required during product registration.
