Download FAR 2018/37 – Relative abundance, size and age structure, and stock status of blue cod off Kaikoura in 2017

This report describes the results of a random-site blue cod (Parapercis colias) potting survey carried out off Kaikoura in December 2017. Estimates are provided for population abundance, size and age structure, sex ratio, total mortality (Z), and spawner biomass-per-recruit ratio. This is the third survey in the Kaikoura random-site survey time series, following those in 2011 and 2015.
