New Zealand is facing ever-increasing biosecurity risks, both in scale and complexity. Current biosecurity readiness, response and long-term management arrangements at Biosecurity New Zealand need to reflect and respond to these increasing risks.
Biosecurity New Zealand is leading a significant piece of work called the Biosecurity New Zealand Response Services Project. The purpose of the procurement is to improve how we contract outsourced services for biosecurity readiness, response and long-term management requirements. We’ve now entered into the procurement phase of the project.
On 1 October 2019, Biosecurity New Zealand released a Request for Proposals (RFP) to seek proposals for the provision of future biosecurity readiness, response and long-term management services.
The RFP has been released on the New Zealand Government Electronic Tender Service (GETS) website. The RFx ID (reference identification number) is 21689581 and the title is “Biosecurity New Zealand Response Services”.
The RFP closes at 4pm on 14 November 2019.
All communications and questions regarding this RFP should be done through the GETS system.
