New Zealand Food Safety invites you to join a webinar that will explain the main changes to the Food Notice: Requirements for Food Importers and Imported Food for Sale 2026 [PDF, 849 KB]
The new notice includes updates to the import requirements for the following High Regulatory Interest (HRI) foods:
- dried spices (chilli, pepper, paprika)
- milk and dairy products
- bivalve molluscan shellfish (BMS) and BMS products
- tahini and sesame paste products.
You’ll learn what's changed, what's new, and what you need to do to be ready when the notice comes into effect on 1 February 2027.
The webinar on 18 June will start at 11am and take 30 minutes, including time for questions and answers.
