Animal products country listing

Some countries require exported animal products to be from an approved premises or operator. Find lists of approved premises and operators for common destination countries.

Requirements for animal product exports

Overseas Market Access Requirements (OMARs) set out the destination market requirements you need to meet when exporting. OMARs will say if an animal product needs to be from approved premises or operators in New Zealand.

You must check the requirements before you export your products (including trade samples). You are responsible for making sure your products comply with New Zealand requirements, OMARs, and OMAR notifications.
