Climate issues facing farmers
The impacts of climate change are projected to intensify over the coming decades – and these impacts will be both environmental and economic. Expectations about responses to climate change and the sustainable use of resources have also increased, both domestically and internationally.
Research shows that 63% of farmers agree or strongly agree that global human activity is contributing to climate change. This is a significant increase over the past 10 years.
