This model represents the dominant grape-growing region in New Zealand of Marlborough. The aim is to typify an average vineyard for the region. Income includes income from grapes, off-vineyard income, new borrowing and other direct vineyard income. This report is a continuation of the Viticulture Benchmarking Programme that MPI initiated in 2004. The Programme is now co-funded by the Ministry for Primary Industries and New Zealand Winegrowers.
