This report updates the available data on striped marlin catch, CPUE and movement from fish caught in New Zealand. Information from the commercial fishery is limited as all marlin must be released. Recreational catch of marlin has been well recorded by sport fishing clubs since the 1920’s and CPUE data has been collected since 1975. Movement data from striped marlin with conventional and satellite tags is described. These data are available.
