Age distributions of orange roughy were estimated from two spawning aggregations sampled on the Mid-East Coast (ORH 2A South, ORH 2B and ORH 3A) from mark identification trawl tows made during the 2017 acoustic survey. Age modes were about 42 years for Sea Valley and about 35 years for Rock Garden fish.
