This discussion paper provides the Ministry for Primary Industries initial views on recommendations to establish new recreational regulations for the harvest of green-lipped mussels and paua from within the Maketu Taiāpure local fishery. The views and recommendations are provided for the purpose of consultation with tangata whenua, recreational fishers and other stakeholders.
