Download FAR 2019/25: Mean weight estimates for recreational fisheries in 2017–18

This report provides mean weight estimates for species commonly landed by recreational fishers from New Zealand stocks during the 2017–18 fishing year. The collation of data from all sources provided a data set of 85 425 lengths for 79 species measured throughout New Zealand. Most of these measurements were from snapper, but there were also large numbers of measurements for kahawai, blue cod, gurnard, tarakihi and trevally.
