A single male Queensland fruit fly was found in the Auckland suburb of Grey Lynn in February 2015. Fruit flies are of concern as they can damage New Zealand’s fruit and vegetable crops. The Ministry for Primary Industries is working to find out if there are any further fruit flies in the area and if there are, to prevent them spreading to fruit and vege growing areas. We need your help.
