Recalled on 12 June 2026 by Foodstuffs Own Brands Limited.
Pams brand Sweet & Sour Simmer Sauce was released from Foodstuffs South Island Hornby Distribution Centre in error following the recall on 12 June 2026.
The incorrectly released product was only available at Foodstuffs (Pak'n Save Wainoni) South Island between 13 June and 15 June 2026. That product had a best-before date of 19/05/2027. However, note that all products listed on this page were recalled.
The recall was extended to include additional batches.

The products were packaged in glass jars.
The products were sold at Four Square, New World and Pak'n Save supermarkets throughout New Zealand.
The products were not exported.
Customers are asked to handle the products carefully and check the best-before dates.
If you have purchased these products, handle carefully and do not consume.
If you have consumed any of these products and have any concerns about your health, seek medical advice.
Customers should return the products to their retailer for a full refund.
