Food safety for infant formula manufacturing
There are food safety requirements you must meet if you manufacture dairy-based:
- infant formula products (for example, infant formula and follow-on formula)
- formulated supplementary foods for young children.
There are also requirements to meet if you manufacture dairy-based ingredients represented as intended for use in any of these products. This does not include ingredients that make up less than 0.5% of the final product.
