Updated supplier declarations for hunters

New Zealand Food Safety has published supplier declarations for hunters. The supplier declarations have been updated to align with changes to the Animal Products Notice: Production, Supply and Processing.

Single poison use statement issued 

A new Poison Use Statement was issued in March, replacing the previous statements for Human Consumption and Petfood.

Feedback indicated that it was unclear who the responsible person must be notified of any changes. The statement has been updated to clarify that the responsible person must notify the hunter of any changes.

Poison Use Statements signed in March and April, using the March version, will remain valid for 3 months from the signing date, unless replaced.
