Replacing our trade certification systems
You access MPI Trade Certification through MyMPI. MyMPI is a secure online tool where users can access some MPI services using a RealMe login. There are a few steps to follow before you can start using MPI Trade Certification.
You'll need a RealMe account to access MyMPI. If you don't have a RealMe account, you can create one.
You'll be asked for some personal information to set up your MyMPI account. You'll also be able to link your account with your business.
If you have previously used ePhyto and you registered in MyMPI prior to Friday, 13 February, you should already be associated with the business you work for.
If your business has requested wine assurances, free sale certificates, or organic assurances for exports to Great Britain since 19 November 2025, your business will already be set up in MyMPI allowing you to find it and request to associate with it. You can also search for your business by its New Zealand Business Number (NZBN).
If you can’t find your business in MyMPI, then the primary contact at your business should log into MyMPI and register the business for MPI Trade Certification. They will be required to complete and upload the application form 'MPI Trade Certification company registration' [PDF, 252 KB]
If you previously used ePhyto and registered in MyMPI prior to Friday, 13 February, you should have access to MPI Trade Certification and be able to view and raise requests for the business you work for.
Once your business is set up in the system and you have your MyMPI account, you'll be able to request access to MPI Trade Certification through MyMPI. See the user guide, Getting started with MPI Trade Certification for step-by-step guidance.
